(Mostly since my other 2 friends have been playing gunner a lot.) Been a few missions just in the past couple days where a drill would have saved the mission in a heart beat. Also much more of a chore to get minerals that are within the walls/ground having just a pickaxe. (I was initially wayyyy to conservative of my platforms.) But the lack of B line ability the drills give to get out of bad places has made me miss him. I recently switched to the engineer and have started to get the hang of it. I didn't even know the mule lead you back on a "generally" easy path to the drop pod until lvl 16. But the ability to rapidly, and easily, get to places is awesome. Few little nuances that took getting use to in order to stay in the fight by not wasting so much ammo. You will need to bring your own lights if you want to illuminate these pitch-black caverns.I started with the driller and loved it. LIGHT YOUR PATHThe underground caves are dark and full of terrors. This means the most powerful weapons and the most advanced gadgets around - flamethrowers, gatling guns, portable platform launchers, and much, much more.
